Dr. Nouri Mohammed has a PhD in Library Science and Information from Cairo University (Egypt). Before coming to the UK, he was a lecturer at Damascus University (Syria) and has also lectured at Tishren University (Latakia, Syria). Currently, Nouri volunteers for the Middle East CEntre Library at St Anthony's College (University of Oxford), for the Oxford Islamic Studies Centre Library.
On working with the Museum to develop Identity Without Borders, Nouri explains 'I like to work with Pitt Rivers because it is spreading the culture of people through preservation [... the] display in the museum [allows] all visitrs to see it'.
