Over 3 weeks (May 2017), Syrian Poet Amir Darwish supported local Oxford poets to use the Pitt Rivers’ collection to inspire poetry. Using both the Pitt Rivers’ handling collection and galleries, Amir guided the local poets to develop their writing. The workshops were a huge success and all the poets performed at the Identity Without Borders evening celebration.
